Good lord this is one of the most epic and immersive albums I've ever heard in my life. The natural production gives off feelings of the first 3 classic Agalloch albums, veering more towards the frosty realm of something like Pale Folklore. Atmospheric black metal can get redundant, but The Deepening will have you enaged until it ends with the mammoth title track. Then you hit repeat and do it all over again.
